How do I know the seva was actually performed?

Every offering includes a receipt and an 80G acknowledgement. Verified temples also share the proofs they have committed to — listed under "What you get" on each seva — after the seva is performed, commonly within 24 hours.

When will my seva be performed?

On the slot you choose, or at the next appropriate muhurta when no slot is selected. You are notified once it is done, and the proof follows shortly after.

Can I offer a seva in someone else’s name, or as a gift?

Yes. You can add the names, gotra and nakshatra of family members so the sankalpa is taken in their name, and the seva is performed on their behalf.

Is my payment secure?

Payments are processed by Cashfree, a PCI-DSS Level 1 certified gateway. SevaCart never stores your card number or UPI PIN. Offerings settle to the temple, and the platform fee is shown transparently at checkout.

Can I cancel, and how do refunds work?

You can cancel before your slot. The offering amount is refunded to the original payment method; a small platform fee may be retained. The cancellation and refund policies list the exact window and amounts.

Do I need an account to offer a seva?

No. You can offer a seva as a guest. An account lets you track your offerings, save family details, and receive reminders for important days.
