Questions partners ask
Everything temples, gaushalas and trusts ask before joining.
What does it cost to join?
Nothing upfront - no listing fee, no subscription, no setup charge. Only a small per-seva platform fee plus the payment gateway's processing fee, both shown to the devotee before they pay.
When do I get paid?
Settlement goes to your institution's registered bank account via our RBI-authorised payment partner on a regular cycle, typically within a few business days of each seva. SevaCart does not retain the seva amount - only its disclosed platform fee.
Who is eligible to partner?
Registered temples and peethas, gaushalas, and dharmic non-profits - with valid registration (Trust deed, society, or Section 8 / 12A as applicable) and a bank account in the institution's name.
What documents do I need?
Your institution's registration certificate, PAN, and bank account proof. Gaushalas and NGOs add a few cause-specific details during onboarding.
Can I set my own seva prices?
Yes. You publish each seva and its price, and you can pause, edit, or add sevas anytime from your partner console.
Who handles refunds and cancellations?
Each seva carries a cancellation window and refund rule shown to the devotee upfront. Platform and gateway fees may be retained on a refund, per the published policy.
Do you issue 80G receipts?
80G receipts are issued by your institution where it is registered for them. SevaCart provides the seva offering proof and a tax invoice for the platform fee.
How long does verification take?
Once your documents are in, our team completes a KYC and compliance review, then contacts you. Early partners get priority onboarding.
