Daily Dattatreya remembrance from the Avadhuta Gita lineage. Datta is the Trimurti embodied in one avadhuta - three heads (Brahma, Vishnu, Shiva), four dogs (the four Vedas), and a sacred cow following. Surrendering to him grants the avadhuta state.

A famous verse of the Dattatreya Stotra praising the Lord as Hari and Krishna, the giver of bliss who appears as child, madman, and ghoul - the threefold guise of the avadhuta.

भवपाशविमुक्ताय दत्तात्रेय नमोऽस्तु ते॥
