Map your present state across the 25 tattvas of Maharshi Kapila.
Sankhya is the third of the six darshanas (philosophical schools). Founded by Maharshi Kapila in the pre-Vedic age and codified by Ishvarakrishna in the Sankhya Karika (~350 CE), it offers the most rigorous classical map of consciousness and matter — 25 tattvas (principles) covering everything from pure witness-consciousness (Purusha) down to the gross elements that make up the physical world.
This tool helps you locate your present engagement across these tattvas — and recommends a sadhana, diet, and sense-discipline aligned with the classical teachings of Sankhya + Yoga + Ayurveda.
The 25 tattvas form a strict ontological hierarchy: from Purusha (pure consciousness) and Prakriti (primordial matter), through the internal organs (antahkarana) and sense + action organs (indriyas), down to the subtle (tanmatras) and gross (mahabhutas) elements. Tap each section to expand.
Note:Purusha is plural in classical Sankhya (many witnesses, not one), distinguishing this school from Advaita Vedanta which holds one Self only. In the classical reckoning, only Prakriti and her 23 evolutes "act" — Purusha is the witnessing principle that triggers the unfolding by its mere presence, the way a magnet stirs iron filings without itself moving.
