For NGOs and welfare trusts

If your work is annadana, orphan care, education or heritage restoration, it can be listed as a cause people support with a named amount and a stated purpose.

Why institutions list here

Causes, not appeals

A cause states what is needed and what it costs. That is what a contributor responds to, and what you can report against afterwards.

No platform fee on contributions today

Verified causes carry no SevaCart platform fee at present, and no gateway line is added to the contribution.

You issue the 80G receipt

Where you hold 12A and 80G registration, the receipt goes from you to the contributor directly. SevaCart does not issue 80G certificates.

A public record

Every completed contribution appears on the public ledger with your institution named, which is a stronger trust signal than any badge we could print.

How it works

  1. Create the account

One account per person, not one per institution. Register with your phone number, verify it, and you land on your partner dashboard.

  2. Add the institution

Name, address, trustee or manager details, and the documents below. You can add more institutions later from the same account.

  3. Complete KYC

PAN is checked against MCA records and the bank account is validated by a penny-drop through our payment partner. A signed board resolution or power of attorney is required.

  4. Publish and receive

Once review clears, your sevas and causes go live. Money reaches your verified bank account after the payment gateway releases the funds, and SevaCart keeps only the disclosed platform fee.

What we commit to

  • No anonymous account ever receives devotee money. PAN and bank verification are completed before anything is listed.
  • Every completed offering is written to a public ledger, with the institution named.
  • The seva amount is never SevaCart revenue. Our fee is published in full on the pricing page.
  • You control your listings, prices, slots and cancellation windows from the partner dashboard.

Questions ngos ask

What documents does an NGO need?

Society, trust or section 8 registration, PAN, a bank account in the institution name, and a signed board resolution or power of attorney. 12A and 80G certificates are needed only for 80G receipts.

Does SevaCart handle foreign contributions?

Contributions are collected in Indian rupees through an RBI-authorised payment partner. Foreign-contribution regulation compliance remains the institution’s own responsibility, and FCRA-designated accounts are not supported through this rail.

Can we run more than one cause at a time?

Yes. There is no cap on the number of live causes an institution can list.

How do contributors know the money was used well?

You upload proof against completed contributions, and each one is recorded on the public ledger.
